Mark off the vinyl fence panels line. Place a wooden stake eight feet to mark the positions of the fence posts. Use a tape measure to tabulate the total number of posts and panels you need. Dig a hole that is 30 inches deep at each point marked by a wooden stake, using post hole diggers. Make sure the holes are 10 to 12 inches in diameter. Measured from the bottom of the hole at the top with tape to make sure it is deep enough.
